Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 5 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups saskatoons coated with 1/2 cup flour optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Grease 8x13" baking pan.
  3. In medium size bowl, mix together the butter, sugar, and egg until well blended. Add milk. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Mix well. Fold in saskatoons until they are just coated.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
