Ingredients

  • Shrimp, clams, scallop, squid or possibly tuna
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lg. can Italian style tomatoes
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 each basil and oregano leaves
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. In heavy skillet saute/fry garlic in oil till golden, remove and throw away garlic. Drain liquid from tomatoes into skillet, crush the tomatoes and add in to the pan. Add in salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. Simmer uncovered for 30 min. Reduce and thicken sauce if needed. While cooking 1 lb. of spaghetti as directed, add in the boiled shell fish and 1/2 c. of parsley into the tomato sauce. Heat about 5 min. Drain cooked spaghetti, place in plate, spoon sauce over it and sprinkle Parmesan or possibly Romano cheese on top.
