Ingredients
- 3 Packages ready to make cornbread
- 1/2 loaf white bread
- 6 Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. onions, minced
- Salt to taste
- 1 1/2 c. minced celery
- 8 c. chicken or possibly turkey broth
- 3 heaping teaspoon sage
- 2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Follow the directions on the ready to make cornbread pkgs.. Crumble cornbread into bowl with 1/2 loaf of white bread. Add in 6 Large eggs. Saute/fry onions and celery in butter and add in to bread mix. Put in 8 c. of broth, the sage, the pepper and salt to taste. Cook in covered greased casserole dish for approximately 35 to 45 min. Serves 20.
