Ingredients

  • 1 c. sweet lowfat milk
  • 1 c. sweet or possibly lowfat sour cream
  • 1 c. butter or possibly Crisco
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or possibly 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Flour

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and add in sufficient flour to create a stiff dough. Knead it in. Form into a roll and cut off a piece at the time, form into a ball and roll to a large circle like lefse. Bake on lefse grill, slow heat, till brown spots appear. Turn over and bake on other side. Using lefse stick fold it in fourths and cool. 1 recipe makes about 24.
