OMG! Rolos are perfect for turtles...Why didn't I think of this? This year I made an easy to make turtle myself. I lined muffin tins with parchment muffin cups sprinkled toasted pecans pieces in the bottom. Then placed 1 unwrapped caramel over the nuts. Placed them in the oven at 350 for 2 - 3 minutes to soften caramel. Removed tins and gently smooshed the caramels, covered with 2 squares of Hersey's chocolate (from a candy bar). Popped back in the oven for one minute to melt the chocolate. Removed again and gently smeared the chocolate over the top. Next, sprinkled extra pecan bits on top and let cool completely. Voila!
