Ricotta Filled Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 x 15-ounce. containers ricotta cheese
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 4 x egg whites, beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix cake according to package directions. Pour into a greased and lightly floured 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Combine cheese, Large eggs, egg whites, sugar, and vanilla and mix well. Pour mix over cake batter and bake for about 1 hour at 300 degrees.
  2. Chefs Notes: Use your favorite egg and sugar substitute.
