Ingredients
- 1 quart finely minced onion
- 1 quart diced rhubarb
- 1Â 1/2 pt vinegar
- 4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan. Slowly bring to boil; simmer for 45 min.
- Pour into warm sterilized jars, and seal. Serve with beef, pork or possibly chicken.
- Makes about4 pts.
