Directions

  1. In a big frying pan add one or two tablespoons of butter, allow to melt and bubble, add sliced leeks and fry gentle until starting to soften. Add sliced cabbage and fry, stirring for a minute or two. Add water and cover, allow to simmer for a couple of minutes, remove lid and stir, replace lid and allow to cook again for a few minutes,continue until water evaporates or cabbage has reduced. Add more butter and gently fry until cooked. Add cracked pepper and salt, stir.
  2. Slice cold corned beef and set aside. On plate put cooked cabbage/leek and place on one side cold beef.
  3. Enjoy.
