  • 1 1/2 c. buttery round crackers, crushed
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. margarine or possibly butter, melted
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 10 ounce frzn strawberry daiquiri mix, partially thawed
  • 1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 x lime, thinly sliced,
  •     optional
  • 8 x strawberries, optional

Directions

  1. Lime adds just a touch of tartness to this quick-and-easy ice cream treat.
  2. Heat oven to 325 degrees F. In medium bowl, combine crust ingredients; mix well. Press in bottom and up sides of 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 10 min. Cold completely.
  3. In large bowl, combine ice cream and daiquiri mix; blend well. Pour into cooled crust. Freeze 4 to 6 hrs or possibly till hard. Let stand at room temperature 10 min before cutting. Garnish each piece with whipped cream, lime slice and strawberry.
