  • 4 1/2 c. fresh peaches -- sliced
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine -- softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Place peaches in a lightly greased 8 inch square baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. sugar. Cream butter and 1/2 c. sugar, beating well. Add in self-rising flour and egg; mix well. Stir in vanilla. Spoon mix over sugared peaches. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 to 35 min or possibly till golden.
  2. Yield: 6 servings.
