The holidays are approaching which means the baking season has begun! Even though I bake so much throughout the year, I still love this time. I think it's because I get to make so many different types of cookies (and eat them), the kids are involved, and I get to give the cookies as gifts too. I'm not creative when it comes to crafts so I like to make cookies, write names on them, and use those as the name tags for dinner or even wrap some up and give them as gifts. We're all busy so one of the quickest and easiest ways is to use a cake mix, add butter & eggs and your dough is done!

Ingredients are as follows:

1 Pillsbury™ Cake Mix

1 Pillsbury™ Creamy

Supreme® Vanilla Frosting

food coloring

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease cookie sheets.

Mix the cake mix, eggs and butter together.

Mix until completely combined, cover and chill for an hour.

Remove dough, and roll out onto a heavily floured surface.

Dip cookie cutters into flour and cut out shapes.

Place onto the cookie sheets.

Bake 10-12 minutes; allow to cool completely.

Mix the frosting and food coloring together; place in a pastry bag.

Decorate the cookies to your liking!

Place in a cookie bag and give to your loved ones.

While you're out shopping at Martin's Food Stores make sure you pick up some cake mixes and frosting so you can make these adorable Cake Mix Cut-Out Cookies too!

Now you have one of my quick and easy recipes to get you through the holidays,

let me know what's on your baking list this season!
