Prosciutto Wrapped Figs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb prosciutto
  • 6 x figs, fresh or possibly canned, dra
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine, optional
  •     fresh grnd black pepper

Directions

  1. Cut figs into thick bite-size slices. Sprinkle with wine. Allow to sit for 30 min, then wrap with prosciutto around each fig slice and secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle with a couple turns of fresh grnd black pepper. To obtain the best presentation serve 3 slices per person white serving plates.
  2. Serves 6.
