Ingredients

  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr Or possibly
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1 1/4 c. wine vinegar
  • Dash salt
  • Dash black pepper
  • 3 whole onions
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red peppers
  • 2 pound pot roast
  • Potatoes
  • Carrots

Directions

  1. Place meat in center of roasting pan. Place onions, carrots, and potatoes around meat. Add in spices. Spread tomato paste over meat. Add in water till surface of meat is just about covered.
  2. Place pan in 400 degree oven for 1-2 hrs for desired consistency of vegetables and meat (rare - well done).
