Ingredients

  • 1 lg. can hominy (or possibly 2-16 ounce. cans)
  • 1 1/2 lbs. pork or possibly beef, cubed
  • 1 lg. can stewed tomatoes
  • 3 jalapeno or possibly yellow warm peppers
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Place meat in large stew pot. Cook till tender (about 1 1/2 hrs). Add in tomatoes and hominy. Continue cooking. Remove stems and seeds from peppers. Slice into long skinny strips. Add in to stew. Cook for another 15 min. Add in salt to taste. (May garnish with shredded cabbage.)
