Ingredients
- 1 x Yeast cake, fresh
- 2 c. Lowfat milk, scalded
- 4 Tbsp. Fat
- 4 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 4 c. Flour, bread
Directions
- Scald lowfat milk, add in fat and sugar. Cold to lukewarm. Add in yeast dissolved in a little hot water. Add in salt and part of flour. Beat till it forms bubbles. Add in rest of flour and knead into soft dough. Let rise.
- Shape into rolls, let rise again. Bake partly through, remove from oven and brush with beaten egg diluted with water. Sprinkle with poppy seeds and bake to golden.
