  • 1 pound turkey sausage, cut into 2 inch pcs
  • 1 can chicken broth/stock
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 1 med. head cabbage, minced coarse
  • 3 to 4 sweet potatoes, cut in 2 inch pcs
  • 1 apple, peel, core & dice
  • 2 T prepared mustard

Directions

  1. Brown sausage in a little oil. Remove from pan and set aside. Add in onion and cabbage to Dutch oven. Cook and stir over medium heat 3 to 4 min. Add in chicken broth/stock, sweet potato, apple, mustard and sausage. Mix gently and cook over low heat till potatoes are tender, approximately 30 min. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
