Ingredients

  • 1 x cake yeast, dissolved in
  • 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 c. lowfat milk, scalded
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted
  • 3 x Large eggs, well beaten
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  •     butter, melted
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 3 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Add in sugar, butter, and salt to scalded lowfat milk. When lukewarm, add in dissolved yeast, Large eggs and flour. Beat thoroughly. Cover and let rise till double.
  2. Stir down and let rise again, till double. Then take 1 tsp. of dough and dip in butter (melted), then roll in mix of sugar, nuts and cinnamon. Pile balls loosely in ungreased angel food cake pan. Let rise 30 min. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 min, and then at 350 degrees for 30 min. When baked, turn the pan upside down immediately. Serve hot.
  3. The rolls will be stuck together and which's the way you serve them.
  4. Everyone plucks his roll from the central supply. These can be reheated in the oven if wrapped in foil. They are also good when served cool.
