pinoy spaghetti enjoyed in the philipines and is much sweeter than other spaghetti it is enjoyed by children and adults and is in fact a family favorite for handing out to neighbors at birthdays and other celebrations

Ingredients

  • Spaghett1 1 kg
  • Ground Beef 1/2 kg
  • Ground Pork 1/2 kg
  • Hot Dogs cut diagonally 1/4 kilo
  • Tomato Sauce 1 kg
  • Laurel Leaves 3 pieces
  • Brown or white Sugar 1/4 cup
  • Green Bell Peppers diced 2 ( two)
  • Onions chopped 2 ( two)
  • Head of Garlic minced 1 (one)
  • Cooking oil 3 tablespoons
  • Water 1 cup
  • Salt and Pepper to taste About 30 grm ( 1 oz)
  • Grated cheese 1/2 cup
  • Salt and pepper mix 3 of salt to 1 of pepper

Directions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to instructions on packet. In a saucepan or wok saut'e garlic , onion, in cooking oil, Add the ground beef and ground pork, Laurel leaves, chopped green bell pepper and 1 cup water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes add tomato sauce salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes. add sugar and hot dogs and simmer for another 5 to 6 minutes. Serve with cooked spaghetti noodles topped with grated cheese on top. can allow to cool and reheat by micro wave
