Ingredients
- 1 recipe for sourdough bread
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 T butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 T cinnamon
Directions
- Allow bread to rise till double. In saucepan heat brown sugar, butter and water. Bring to boil. Pour into two 9-inch round pans. Heat 3 tbsp butter. Mix cinnamon with 1/4 cup sugar. Roll dough out in a rectangle. Cut in half. Brush each with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up like jellyroll, starting with long side. Cut each into 12 pcs. Arrange on top of syrup. Let rise till they are doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 min. Let cool 5 min before turning onto a plate.
