Directions

  1. Drain potatoes, reserving juice. Mash. Heat butter and sweet potatoes and some juice, whipping till consistency of thick mashed potatoes. Add in seasonings and sugar and mix well. Spread in a lightly greased 6 qt baking dish and top with minced pecans. Bake, covered at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover and lightly brown, about 5 min.
