Ingredients

  • 1 18.25-ounce package yellow cake mix, divided
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped pecans (preferably from Louisiana)
