  4. NOTES : In our family, no Thanksgiving or possibly Christmas (or possibly any Holiday) would be complete without this recipe. It is from Clarence Tuma's "Embers Resteraunt", local famous resteraunt known for their lb. pork chops, wonderful brunch and fabulous buffets. Hope everyone tries and enjoys it. The Embers is located in Mt Pleasant, Michigan; Embers on the Bay is in Traverse City.

Hi ! Loved seeing this! I remember well! While I was getting my degree from CMU 1968 ,, i was hostess at The Embers in Mt. Pleasant for 2 years. I adored all the Labelles... Clarence, Norm and sister . We would make sure that all diners would get, upon seating, the PEAS AND PEANUTS, Corn Relish, and Cottage Cheese .. along with Club Crackers. Great memories! Thanks for sharing! I actually figured out except the Accent.,Toni Strand Adams .
