Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Dip shark steaks in egg on both sides and then pack peanuts, salt and pepper on.
  3. Pan-fry shark on medium heat for 2 min per side. Place in a 400-degree oven for 7 to 10 min.
  4. In a medium saucepan, saute/fry onion and star anise for 2 min. Add in fish stock and tomato juice and simmer for 5 min. Garnish with cilantro and serve shark over sauce with julienned vegetables.
  5. Note: You can replace the shark steaks with halibut or possibly swordfish fillets.
