Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/2 c. Peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Peanut butter
  • 3/4 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt, optional
  • 3 c. Old-fashioned oats, uncooked
  • 1 pkt Semisweet chocolate chips, 12 ounce

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375'F. Beat butters and sugar till fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add in combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in
  2. oats and chocolate chips.
  3. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9
  4. min for a chewy cookie, 10-11 min for a crisp cookie. Cold 1
  5. minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack, cold, store tightly
  6. covered.
  7. Makes 4-1/2 dozen cookies.
