Peach Turnovers

Turnovers are so versatile and that is why I love them! You can fill them with a number of things, from peaches to apples to pears to plums, and you can season the fruits or dress them however you want. Today I went with Peaches! I don’t know quite when my love for Peaches began. It just sort of happened. One day I looked in the fridge and realized I had several Peach Teas and several bottles of Peach Seltzer just staring at me. I just love the taste! The peach filling inside is just incredible, and I think we know now how I feel about Puff Pastry! The combination of the two just puts me over the edge!

Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry Dough
  • 2 cups Peaches (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 teaspoons Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 teaspoons Granulated Sugar
  • Confectioners’ Sugar, for dusting
