Peach Melon Frozen Yogurt Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 c. Frzn unsweetened mixed fruit,, such as peaches, melo
  • 1/3 c. Sugar,, preferably instant-dissolving
  • 1/2 c. Nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice

Directions

  1. In a food processor, combine frzn fruit and sugar. Pulse till coarsely minced. In a small bowl, stir together yogurt and lemon juice. With the machine running, gradually pour the yogurt mix through the feed tube.
  2. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the work bowl once or possibly twice. Scoop the frzn yogurt into serving dishes, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 15-30 min to hard up before serving.
  3. Yield: about 2 1/2 c., serves 4
  4. *Try frzn strawberries, blueberries or possibly bananas, but avoid seedy fruits, such as raspberries.
