- 4 cups of fresh and filtered water and 10 cups of fresh and filtered water, divided
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 (11.5 oz.) can of peach nectar (we use Kern's...found in the juice aisle of the grocery store)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 fresh peaches

.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOn%20Monday,%20I%20shared%20my%20recipe%20for%20Peach%20and%20Cinnamon%20Cobbler.%20Today,%20I'm%20sharing%20yet,%20another%20peach%20recipe%20with%20all%20of%20you.%20Can%20ya%20tell%20I'm%20trying%20to%20hold%20on%20to%20the%20last%20bit%20of%20summer?%20;)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20discovered%20this%20recipe%20while%20teaching%20one%20of%20my%20cooking%20classes%20back%20in%20May%20of%20this%20year.%20I've%20made%20it%20three%20times%20since%20then%20because%20well,%20everyone%20just%20loves%20it%20over%20here!%20I%20figured%20since%20it's%20such%20a%20great%20recipe,%20that%20it%20deserved%20a%20spot%20on%20the%20blog.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20really%20is%20just%20your%20normal%20way%20of%20making%20iced%20tea,%20with%20just%20a%20few%20added%20ingredients%20to%20kick%20it%20up%20a%20notch.%20This%20is%20such%20a%20versatile%20recipe!%20You%20can%20probably%20substitute%20the%20peaches%20with%20mangos%20and%20turn%20it%20into%20mango%20iced%20tea%20or%20even%20strawberry/banana%20or%20apricot.%20It's%20the%20can%20of%20nectar%20that%20makes%20it%20pop!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20really%20isn't%20anything%20left%20to%20say%20except%20that%20if%20you%20want%20to%20savor%20the%20last%20few%20days%20of%20summer,%20you%20should%20make%20this%20tea!%20It's%20the%20perfect%20way%20to%20say%20good-bye%20to%20a%20wonderful%20summer%20and%20hello%20to%20the%20upcoming%20fall%20season.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(Serves%208)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E12%20regular%20sized%20tea%20bags%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Bring%204%20cups%20of%20water%20to%20a%20boil.%20Remove%20from%20heat%20and%20add%20the%20tea%20bags.%20Make%20sure%20all%20of%20the%20tea%20bags%20are%20submersed%20in%20the%20water.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Let%20bags%20steep%20for%2015%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Remove%20bags%20and%20add%20the%20sugar%20to%20the%20water.%20Stir%20until%20it%20is%20dissolved.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Add%20the%20baking%20soda%20and%20the%20can%20of%20nectar.%20Stir%20until%20dissolved.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20Pour%20the%20tea%20mixture%20into%20a%20large%20one%20gallon%20pitcher%20and%20add%20in%2010%20cups%20of%20water.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E6.%20Stir%20in%20the%20fresh%20lemon%20juice.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E7.%20Add%20the%20fresh%20peaches%20and%20serve%20over%20ice.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERecipe%20Source:%20Original%20recipe%20can%20be%20found%20here.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
