Peach Cobbler

Oh So Good! Made with cake batter. Yum Yum!

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 cans sliced peaches or 7 to 8 fresh peaches sliced and pealed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 Tsp almond extract
  • cinnamon
  • 1 Box white (or yellow) cake batter
  • Butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Grease 13" pan - thick layer of butter
  3. Add peaches to pan
  4. Mix in sugar
  5. Mix in almond extract
  6. Dash of cinnamon mixed in (or sprinkle cinnamon on top of cake batter)
  7. Spread cake batter mix on top of peaches
  8. Cover cake batter with slices of butter, all over
  9. Bake until golden brown
  10. might have to break up clumps of batter, and sometimes you have to add more butter
