Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 2 medium sized potatoes
  • Grated coconut – 2 tablespoons
  • Green chillies – 4
  • A sprig of curry leaves
  • Mustard – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for tempering

Directions

  1. Boil and peel the potatoes and set aside
  2. .
  3. Mash the potatoes and add the grated coconut, salt and water.
  4. In a kadai, heat some oil and add the mustard. Once the mustard stops sputtering, add the green chillies and curry leaves and finally add the potato/coconut mixture.
  5. Boil well and simmer for a few minutes.
