Ingredients

  • Sugar: 1.5 tbsp
  • Oil: 4 tbsp (I used less)
  • Cloves :8
  • Cinnamon: 2 inch piece or 5cm stick
  • Onion: 1 medium peeled and cut into thin half rings
  • Basmati rice: 450 g or 3/4 pint ,washed,soaked for atleast 20 minutes and drained.
  • Salt :1 tsp or as per taste
