Pan Seared Cinnamon Bananas Over Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. dark rum
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 x bananas sliced 1/2" rounds
  •     Vanilla ice cream for serving
  •     Mint sprigs for garnish

Directions

  1. In a large saute/fry pan over medium heat, add in butter and heat. Add in brown sugar and stir till melted.
  2. Remove pan from heat and add in rum. Return pan to the heat and stir till a light caramel forms. Add in the bananas and toss to coat.
  3. Serve over vanilla ice cream and garnish with a sprig of mint.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
