  • Pachai Payaru (Green Gram) – 1/2 cup
  • Raw Rice – 1/2 cup
  • Onions – 2, finely chopped
  • Tomatoes – 2, finely chopped
  • Green Chillies – 2, finely chopped
  • Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves – handful, chopped
  • Cashewnuts – 8 to 10, fried in little ghee
  • Cinnamon – a small piece
  • Clove – 1
  • Ghee as required
  • Oil as required
  • Salt as per taste
