Directions

  1. In large bowl, whisk together Large eggs, egg whites, lowfat milk, vanilla and salt.
  2. In small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Slice bread into slices 1 inch thick. Cut a deep pocket in each slice.
  4. Inside each pocket, place bananas in a single layer. Sprinkle brown sugar mix over bananas.
  5. Place in greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Pour in egg mix. Let stand 5 min. Turn each slice over. Cover with plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour or possibly overnight.
  6. Remove plastic wrap; sprinkle with nuts. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350F oven 30 min or possibly till golden brown.
