Ingredients
- 2 c. Sugar
- 2 x Butter or possibly margarine
- 3 x Large eggs beaten
- 1/2 pt Lowfat sour cream
- 4 c. Flour
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr,double-acting
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 2 x Oranges juice and rind
- 3 Tbsp. Butter softened
- 2/3 x Powdered sugar
- 1 x Orange juice and rind
- Lowfat milk as needed
Directions
- Preparation Time: 0:25Cream 2 c. sugar and 2 sticks butter (or possibly margarine) Add in 3 Large eggs and lowfat sour cream alternately with with dry ingredients. Add in juice and rind of 2 oranges. Drop by teaspoonsful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 8-10 min. (check after 6 min) For Icing-Mix together last 4 ingredients,(3 tbs margarine or possibly butter, 2/3 box powderd sugar, juice and rind of one orange and lowfat milk as needed) Spread on cooled cookies.
- Makesabaout 24 cookies.
