  •     Pillsbury refrigerated fluted pie crust
  • 1/4 c. finely-minced Vidalia onion
  • 1/4 c. finely-diced red bell pepper
  • 1 c. minced blanched liquid removed fresh Swiss chard
  •     (or possibly use frzn minced spinach)
  • 1 c. whole lowfat milk or possibly half-and-half
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. diced Swiss cheese
  • 1 pkt cream cheese - (8 ounce) softened, and
  •     cut into 1/2" squares
  • 1/2 lb fresh crab meat

Directions

  1. Line pie plate (preferably The Inn at Christmas Farm's signature Deep Dish Christmas Farm Pie Plate) with pie crust.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk thoroughly 3 Large eggs. Add in and mix together all remaining items listed above, except crab meat. Lastly, stir in gently the crab meat and pour into Christmas Farm Pie Dish.
  3. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove; dust with Old Bay seasoning and serve at table in 5 min.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
