  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups, packed, torn kale with stems removed, about 4 ounces
  • 3/4 cup broth, divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (14.5oz) can white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or other hot sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke, optional
