Old Fashioned Hot Milk Cake

I have a special place in my heart for milk. Milk is a constant throughout my past, present, and future. I was born and raised in Wisconsin, also known as America’s Dairyland. My grandfather worked at a dairy for part of his life, and my mom still talks about how he would bring milk home in glass bottles for the family to share. When I was pregnant with my son, Calvin, milk was my one and only pregnancy craving. No matter where I am living or what I am doing, a cold glass of foamy milk always has a spot on the table at any meal, and it’s a tradition I happily continue with my own family.
