Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
Directions
- Combine the sugar, milk, and margarine in a heavy saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Stir and boil for two minutes.
- Remove from the heat.
- Stir in the peanut butter and the oats.
- Mix well.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.
- Set aside until firm.
- Makes about 1 1/2 pounds
