Oatmeal Apple Crisp (For Pressure Cooker)

Ingredients

  • 4 c. Apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 c. Quick cooking oats
  • 1/3 c. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/3 c. Melted butter
  • 2 c. Water

Directions

  1. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and butter. Place alternate layers of apples and oat mix (beginning and ending with apples) in a buttered bowl or possibly dish which may be set loosely on a low rack in cooker. Cover bowl with aluminum foil and place on rack with water in cooker. Close cover securely. Cook 20 min. Cold cooker at once.
  2. May be served with ice cream or possibly whipped cream.
  3. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
