Oatmeal Almond Fudge Bars Recipe

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Whisk together baking soda, salt & flour. Set aside.
  2. Mix together brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter & 1 tsp. vanilla & egg. Beat till creamy. Blend in flour mix slowly. Stir in cornflakes, oats & 1/2 c. almonds. Stir well. Set aside 1 c. dough. Place remaining dough into baking pan. Heat chocolate chips & 1 Tbsp. remaining butter together over low heat. Add in 1 c. almonds, condensed lowfat milk, 1 tsp. vanilla & salt. Blend well. Press this mix over cookie mix.
  3. Crumble reserve c. of dough over top. Bake 30 min.
  4. Cold & cut into bars. Drizzle with melted vanilla chips. THE DESSERT SHOW
