  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/4 c. Dry mustard -- plus 1
  •     Tbsp.
  • 2 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Vinegar
  • 1 x Egg yolk

Directions

  1. Combine sugar, mustard, flour, and salt in a small saucepan; stir well.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients; beat well. Gradually stir lowfat milk mix into mustard mix; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, till thickened and bubbly. Cold thoroughly, and store in refrigerator. Serve as a meat or possibly sandwich spread.
  3. Yield: 2 c..
  4. Microwave Directions: Combine sugar, mustard, flour, and salt in a 1-qt glass measure; stir well. Combine remaining ingredients; beat well.
  5. Gradually stir lowfat milk mix into mustard mix. Microwave at HIGH for 4 to 5 min or possibly till thickened and bubbly, stirring after 2 min, then at 1-minute intervals. Cold thoroughly, and store in refrigerator.
