Ingredients

  • 1 c. Moong dal flour, (green or possibly yellow)
  • 1 Tbsp. Corriander finely minced
  • 1 x Carrot grated
  • 1/4 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1 x Green chilli grnd
  • 2 pch soda bicarb
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Warm oil
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Oil to shallow fry.

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl with sufficient water to make batter.
  2. It should, thinly coat back of a spoon.
  3. Pour the batter in a big spoonful on a warmed dosa tawa or possibly non-stick tawa
  4. (griddle).
  5. Sprinkle some oil. Allow to become light brown, flip over and cook other side.
  6. Cold and pack.
  7. If you like with green chutney or possibly sauce.
  8. Making time: 20 mins.
  9. Serves: 4 pancakes
