Ingredients

  • 2 lg. round steaks
  • Garlic salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 lg. can diced green chiles
  • 1 lg. jar Pace mild or possibly med. warm picante sauce
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 (1 lb.) can whole tomatoes

Directions

  1. Cut meat into individual serving-size pcs. Season to taste with garlic and pepper. Smother meat with onion slices, green chile, picante sauce and tomatoes. Cover with foil very tightly. Bake at 325 degrees for 2-3 hrs. Just before serving, add in cheese.
