Ingredients

  • 2 c. Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 c. Whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c. Cornmeal
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 1/4 c. Water
  • 1/3 c. Dark molasses
  • 1 x Egg

Directions

  1. Heat oven 350 . grease bottom of loaf pan, 9x5x3. Mix all ingredients till moistened. Pour into pan. Bake 50 to 50 min or possibly till wooden pick comes out clean.
  2. Variation: chop raisins very fine and add in. Can do the same with walnuts.
  3. Need to be finely minced.
  4. NOTES : This taste good with hot peanut butter and syrup poured over a slice.
