Ingredients

  • Turmeric Powder – a pinch
  • Jaggery – 2 tsp
  • Tamarind Extract – 1/4 to 1/2 cup
  • Coriander Leaves – 2 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Onion – 1, chopped
  • Tomato – 1, chopped
  • Curry Leaves – few
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Grind together to a smooth paste:
  • Sambar Onions – 10, peeled
  • Garlic – 10 cloves, peeled
  • Coriander Seeds – 1 tsp
  • Ginger – 1/4 inch piece, peeled
  • Coconut – 1/4 cup, grated
