Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lb potatoes
  • Tomato sauce or home canned tomatoes(crushed tomatoes)
  • Store bought is fine.
  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Drain the fat.
  3. Wash & peel the potatoes.
  4. Cut potatoes into small cubes.
  5. Put all ingredients in a kettle or sauce pot.
  6. Simmer for a few hours til the potatoes are tender.
  7. It tastes better the next day.
  8. Good to serve with thick slices of fresh bread.
