Ingredients
- 1Â 1/2 lb Grnd beef
- 1/2 lb Sausage
- 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed in small pcs
- 1 tsp Worchestire sauce
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- Â Â Party Rye bread
Directions
- Brown grnd beef and sausage and drain. Add in Velveeta cheese to meat mix on low heat and stir till melted. Add in next four ingredients, mixing well. Remove from heat. Drop by large spoonful and spread while hot on individual slices of party rye bread. Place on cooking sheet . Bake at 400 for 15 min.
- (As mix begins to cold in pan, it is more difficult to spread as easily on the bread. Also, when I want to freeze some, I use those which have not been baked, let them cold and place them in layers in a closed Tupperware container with wax paper in between layers. Then they're ready to be baked anytime I need them.)
