  • 1 1/2 c. basic white sauce (recipe below)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 med. potatoes, sliced thin
  • 1 sm. onion, sliced and minced
  • 1/3 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

  1. Mix potatoes, onion, salt and white sauce in 1 1/2 qt glass casserole. Microwave on high 9 min. Stir. Top with grated cheese. Continue cooking on high 9 to 10 min or possibly till potatoes are tender. Let stand 2 min before serving. Serves 6.
