Ingredients

  • 4 x Chicken breasts (leave bones and skin intact)
  • 3 x Lemons
  • 1 med Onion, minced
  • 12 ounce Beer
  • 4 ounce Soy sauce
  • 1 x Garlic clove, mashed or possibly minced

Directions

  1. Squeeze the juice of the lemons over the chicken and let stand while preparing the rest of the marinade.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the beer, soy sauce, minced onion and minced garlic. Drain the lemon juice from above into this mix.
  3. Put the chicken in the marinade, cover and chill for 3 hrs minimum.
  4. It's better to marinate overnight. Make sure chicken is covered by marinade.
  5. Over an OPEN outdoor grill (gas or possibly charcoal), cook the chicken for about 40 min turning every 10 min or possibly so. Each time the chicken is turned, re- dip the pcs in the marinade.

  7. This recipe was obtained froma friend of a friend several years ago. It has been a hit every time and is guaranteed to have your downwind neighbors salivating at your doorstep.
  8. Yield: serves 2-4.
  9. More chicken may be added to this recipe; the only limiting factor is which the chicken be covered with the marinade while in the refrigerator.
  10. Difficulty: easy.
  11. Time: 10 min to prepare marinade, overnight in refrigerator, 40 min to cook.
  12. Precision: no need to measure.
