Ingredients

  • 6 (1 inch) thick pork chops
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 to 1 c. minced onion
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 1/3 c. chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. boiling water

Directions

  1. Trim fat from pork chops. Rub with salt, pepper and flour and lb. lightly. Heat oil in skillet and brown pork chops. Add in onion and garlic, cook about 5 min. Drain oil and place pork chops in an 11 x 7 inch casserole dish.
  2. Mix chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and water. Add in to casserole dish. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 50 to 60 min, removing cover for the last 10 min.
